Our Story

Social Responsibility

Throughout our development, having learned from and accessed support from reputable NGOs such as Helvetas, CSIP, PUM , GreenHub, etc., Tram Vien Minh understands the need for more practical activities to enhance the capacity of disadvantaged people we collaborate with. This is how we are setting our sights on becoming a Social Impact Business (SIB) - a group of organizations and businesses that create positive impacts on society and the environment through commercial activities and business solutions.

In addition to training in cultivation techniques, harvesting, and understanding gender roles within the family, as well as providing machinery and capital support to farmers, Vien Minh also has the Bimela Fund , established from a donation of 1,000 VND per product sold, or from prize money won by Vien Minh Melaleuca , or from support from organizations and individuals, to fund welfare activities, such as donating young Melaleuca trees to farmers and providing scholarships to students in disadvantaged areas. The largest prize Vien Minh has ever won is 1350 EUR - a joint third prize in the Green Superstar competition organized by Oxfam Vietnam and GreenHub, for the idea of "Composting Melaleuca leaf residue after extraction" to return fertilizer to Mother Earth and reduce the use of chemical fertilizers in farming areas.
